Individual Long Term Care Insurance

The experts at Kiplinger Financial described long-term care insurance this way: “aside from medical insurance, quite possibly the single most important insurance protection that an individual or a couple can have.”

In fact, if you have not committed a portion of your assets to pay for long-term care services then you have probably committed most or all of your assets to pay for long-term care services.

Long-term care is not about you, but those who care about and for you.  Let me say it again, Long-term care is not about you, but those who care about and for you. You may not believe that you will live a long life or that you may ever need care and you may be right. But, if you are wrong, the failure to consider what providing care to you could do to those you love will have catastrophic consequences. I have seen seemingly close families destroyed because of poor LTC planning.
